Feel the easing of long darkness,
Breathe in the new air coming,
Hear the peepers from the pond next door,
The sun stands its stead much longer these days.
Inhale the breeze touching your pale face,
Created by those who migrate north,
Hang on a few weeks longer to the you inside,
That craves a bare-foot run in green grass.
Soon enough,
Cherry trees will bow with blossoms,
And the bluebirds will return
To soothe you with their songs.
